New Street Properties, LLC is a leader in the revitalization of Downtown Macon.
New Street Properties, LLC began its journey more than 20 years ago as Poplar @ New, a company owned by landscape architect, Tony Widner of Widner & Associates, Inc. During this time we have restored and redeveloped several Downtown Macon properties. We find great pride in our city and strive to contribute to its economic growth and development.
Our investments include several locations around Downtown Macon, including the Cotton Avenue Lofts. Built in 2012, the lofts were a pioneer in the Downtown Macon loft boom that has been taking place over the last 10+ years. The property is located on quiet and convenient Cotton Avenue and also houses a salon. New Street Properties, LLC also is focused on the revitalization of the commercial spaces just next door to the lofts on Cotton Avenue. Our next planned project is to further develop the vacant second floor to four luxury rentals.
Other properties include a mixed-use building on Poplar Street containing four commercial tenants and two residential units, including our home office and the newly renovated, Relaxing and Stylish Downtown Macon Apartment. As well as Cotton Avenue Lofts located on Cotton Avenue, the 1391 Briarcliff Condo, and soon to be a rental house on New Street.
